#1 SCHUHBECKS GEWÜRZE
Opened in April 2016 in Altötting, opposite to the Papstlinde. Spicery, gifts and ice cream.

#2 KAPELLPLATZ & MORE
Visit the numerous devotional shops on Kapellplatz and stroll through town to buy a little gift. Market every Thursday and Saturday – no car needed.
#3 NEUÖTTING (2km)
Historic center with lots of shops and cafés. We recommend a nice walk there.

#4 BURGHAUSEN (16km)
In den Grüben (pedestrian zone) and the historic center you will find various small and long-established shops. Arts, craft and local food.

The 500m long center of Mühldorf is an ideal spot to go shopping or simply go for a stroll there.

A great time of the year with a varied program during the christmas market right on the Kapellplatz.

Our traditional fair/beer festival. Enjoy typical Bavarian culture during this week in Altötting and enjoy regional beer and great Bavarian food in one of the tents (Bierzelt).

#3 INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FORUM
Open Air meets Kapellplatz - Youth meets Altötting.
Sounds interesting and is indeed a nice change compared to the traditional pilgrimage on holidays. We offer special prices for younger guests during this event.

#4 KLOSTERMARKT
A relaxed market right on the Kapellplatz. High-quality products and tasty food from monasteries from Bavaria and beyond. Even we use some oft he products for our dishes.

#5 HALBMARATHON
At the end of September things get sporty in Altötting. There is a half marathon and an exciting 6km run through Altötting’s forest, which our teams attends as well, by the way :)

#1 GRAMINGER WEIßBRÄU, ALTÖTTING
Guided tours possible, great beer garden with a wonderful view on Altötting,
famous for Weißbier, Bockbier and Märzen
#2 MÜLLERBRÄU, NEUÖTTING (2km)
Regular guided tours, brews all brands of beer, our favourites:

#3 BRÄU IM MOOS, TÜßLING (8km)
Their lager beer is even prominent in Italy, a wonderful destination with beer garden right next to their private deer enclosure.

#4 SOMMERKELLER, ERHARTING (15km)
Fantastic beer garden, when the weather is fine you will enjoy the view on the Chiemgau mountains while drinking a nice Erhartinger beer. You can charge your E-bike there.
#5 GASTHAUS HOLZEN, WINHÖRING (8km)
Surrounded by nature, parents enjoy sitting in this idyllic beer garden while the kids are having fun on the playground. Graminger and Müllerbräu beer is served there.
#1 CHAPEL SQUARE
The baroque square is the city centre of Altötting and ist pilgrimage. The extensive lawns as well as various architectural styles are a characteristic of this square.

#2 CHAPEL OF GRACE
Two miracle healings were reported at the chapel in 1498. The core construction of this church (the octagon) is presumably from the 700s. Especially interesting are the approimately 2.000 votive tablets in the chapel walkway and the Image Altar inside the chapel.
#3 STIFTSPFARRKIRCHE
This impressive Gothic hall church is located right next to the Chapel of Grace and is one of the distinctive buildings on the wonderful Chapel Square. It is home to the Tilly vault, the „Tod von Eding“ or the stunning altar with its magnificent organ.
#4 BASILIKA ST. ANNA
The biggest church in Altötting. Its dimensions: 24m in height – 27,5m in width and an inside length of 83m. This offers enough space for more than 8.000 pilgrims. The church became Basilica minor in 1913.
#5 CAPUCHIN MONASTERY
Work-place of holy Konrad von Parzham. From 2006 until 2008 the monastery had been extensively renovated. Best sights there: relic shrine of Bruder Konrad, the monastery church St. Konrad or the Bruder Konrad Brunnen (a fountain, its water is reported to have a curative effect on eye complaints).
#1 PUBLIC BATH ST. GEORGEN, ALTÖTTING
Recreation center with variuos outdoor pools, water slide, paddling pool for kids and three Speckbrettl courts (a unique tennis-like sport only available in Altötting). Open from May until September.

#2 BICYCLE TOUR LAKE PERACH
Wonderful nature surrounds this lake which is easily accessible by bike via the Inn Bike Path. The perfect refreshment on a hot summer day. Of course you can reach the lake by car as well.

#3 MINIATURE GOLF HAMMER IN POLLING
Huge miniature golf park, with Pit-Pat and more. Suitable for future professional golfers or just for fun. It’s also easily accessible by bike. See our reception desk for your itinerary.

#4 CINEMA QUADROSCOPE & ANKER FILMTHEATER BURGHAUSEN
Unfortunately the good old days when Altötting had its own cinema are (long) gone. However, Burghausen offers a modern cinema showing the latest movies. The Anker cinema shows alternative movies and even classics from time to time.

#5 KREISHALLENBAD NEUÖTTING
Located between Altötting and Neuötting this indoor swimming pool is open from September until April. The kids‘ area and the non-swimmer pool are espcially popular with families.
