Our "Gasthaus zu den 12 Aposteln"

was founded in the 17th century and is family-owned since 1925 by our family Berndl.
Authentic Bavarian food and home-made “Weißwürst” were the foundation for our (great-)grandparents and made our house what it is now. It is rumored, that the “Weißwürst” were the actual reason to burden oneself with the long way to Altötting.
Thousands of visitors from all over the world came to Altötting and stopped at the 12 Apostel. This tradition was kept by many following generations.
Still today we’re host to many hungry believers visiting us when Sunday church is over.
Of course we are still aware of this year-long tradition and offer typical Bavarian food in our restaurant. Timeless classics like fresh pork roast or escalope “Wiener Schnitzel”, pikeperch filet with potatoes or mushrooms in a creamy sauce with dumplings are just a few dishes you’ll find on our menu.
